Abstract
Speeding across the hot, dry Arizona desert, with huge saguaro cacti flashing past on each side, I wondered what adventures awaited me. I entered the Papago Indian Reservation and continued straight toward the setting sun. Sharp mountains spiked the horizon, and lights flickered from scattered houses.
