Abstract
The use of liquid scintillation counting for the absolute standardization of pure β-emitting radionuclides by means of the efficiency-tracing method is investigated. Special effects occuring by the use of liquid scintillators do not lead to important errors. Results of measurements of the nuclides35S and45Ca are given.
