Abstract
Starting from the doubly connected configuration manifoldM 2,3 for the system of two indistinguishable particles inR 3, its two inequivalent quantizations are explicitly constructed. The geometric patching procedure for the global construction of a principal bundle with the gauge groupU(1) out of its trivializations over a suitably chosen set of open neighbourhoods coveringM 2,3 is used.
