Diffraction model study of two-nucleon transfer reactions

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

A simple diffraction model using sharp cut-off in the angular momentum space is adopted for the two-nucleon transfer reactions. Some (p,t) reactions on 1p shell nuclei are analysed with satisfactory results. The finite range calculations are performable in the model and they are compared with the results of approximate theories. The angular distributions in various theories differ little and the ratios of absolute magnitudes remain relatively constant.
