Testing the (WγW)-vertex in the process\(e^ + e^ - \to v\bar v\gamma \)

Abstract

A detailed analysis of the process\(e^ + e^ - \to v\bar v\gamma \) is presented from the point of view the threeboson vertex (WγW) study. We perform a search for the most sensitive γ-quanta distribution for anomalous couplings and find that the distribution isE γ one. The analysis is carried out on the basis of exact calculations for the cross-section. Approximate analytical expression for the differential cross-section is presented as well. Minimum deviations of ϰγ and λγ (the well-known parameters of (WγW)-vertex) from their standard model values, which will be possible to determine at LEP-II, are |ϰγ−1|≦1.0 and |λγ|≦1.8 at 2σ-level. The corresponding figures for the center of mass energies\(\sqrt s = 2000GeV\) areΔϰγ≃0.14 andΔλγ≃0.02.
