MONTMARQUET is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington and a member of the Advisory Committee for the new Agriculture and Liberal Arts program at this institution. His articles, mainly on ethics and action theory, have appeared in THE JOURNAL OF PHILOSOPHY, PHILOSOPHICAL STUDIES and other journals of current philosophy.
