Abstract
High reactivity of the nitrite group in (NN-difluoroamino)dinitroacetonitrile was demonstrated. Based on its reaction with HN3, a new preparative method for the synthesis of 5-[(N,N-difluoroamino)dinitromethylltetrazole was developed; some derivatives of the latter compound have been obtained.
