Abstract
The formation of 4-plienylaminopltenyldiplienylcarbinol and related triarylrnethne dye was observed upon the recombination of keyl and diphenylaminc radicals in surfactant micelles. The negative magnetic effect of the reaction studied reaches 1.8 and is caused by an increase in the escape of the radicals from the cage due to increasing lifetime of triplet radical pairs.
