Modeling of the conditions of contact interaction of the rock mass and lining in bar design schemes of tunnel workings

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The presence of cohesion at the contact of a tunnel lining with the earth mass unconditionally favorably affects its SSS caused by the conservative load only in the elastic stage of their contact interaction. With the occurrence of a detachment zone in the roof of the working, the SSS of the lining markedly worsens, approaching the analogous state for the case of the absence of contact cohesion. For certain ratios of the load and tensile strength of the soil, the flexural state of the lining in the detachment zone occurring as a result of rupture of the ties can be even more unfavorable than in the case of their absence.

  2. 2.

The method proposed by the authors makes it possible to examine the contact interaction of tunnel linings with an earth mass with modeling of various diagrams of the work of the ties in the class of calculation schemes of the mechanics of frames. The method is a generalization of modern modifications of the method of Metrogiprotrans known in the literature.
