The stark effect for the hydrogen atom inside boxes with paraboloidal surfaces

Abstract

Hypervirial relationships and perturbation theory are used in order to obtain analytic approximate expressions for the energy levels of the hydrogen atom in a paraboloidal box in an electric field.
