Conclusions
New types of cements with a high refractoriness (above 1800°C), ultimate compressive strength of 40–60 MPa, and insignificant loss of strength on heating (20–25%) have been obtained in the CaAl2O4-CaAl4,O7-MgCr2O4 system.
With the help of a statistical method involving extremal experiments, a melting diagram has been constructed for this system. The calculated data are in satisfactory agreement with experiment.
