Conclusions

The flowability of quartzite bodies during the vibration of the hopper increases with a reduction in their moisture content and an increase in the vibration acceleration, depending on the amplitude and frequency of the oscillations. Coating the walls of the hoppers with sheet polystyrene may facilitate the flow of the bodies.
