Abstract
Using multi-MeV highly charged ion beams from a tandem Van de Graaff and merging them with collinear electron beams, we have measured dielectronic recombination (DR) at relative energies in the range of 5 to 50 eV. the results are compared with theory and extension of the method both in range and resolution are discussed.
