Abstract
Together with the known alkaloids acetylsepaconitine and delvestidine, the roots ofAconitum septentrionale Koelle have yielded the diethyl ester of succinylanthranilic acid and the new C20-diterpene alkaloid septedinine, the structure of which has been established on the basis of spectral characteristics.
