Screening and detection of the new 1,4-benzodiazepine derivative metaclazepam

Abstract

A sensitive screening method is described for the new 1,4-benzodiazepine derivative metaclazepam, by means of its metabolite 2-amino-5-bromo-2′-chlorobenzophenone. Other analytical data for the detection of metaclazepam and its main metabolites are also reported.
