On the interaction of collective degrees of freedom in nuclei

Abstract

The structure of the interaction of giant dipole and giant quadrupole oscillations with nuclear surface vibrations is established. The various coupling parameters are calculated in the hydrodynamic model. The significance of the interaction terms is discussed.
