Abstract
We have studied the3H(d, n)4He reaction at low energies within a multi-channel resonating-group calculation based on many-bodyn+α andd+3H configurations and pseudo-states as well as on an effective nucleonnucleon interaction containing central, spin-orbit, and tensor components. The low-energy fusion cross section is excellently reproduced within our approach.
