Abstract
We use KKR-bandstructure data and apply recently developed Brillouin-zone integration techniques to evaluate the wavevector dependent spin susceptibilities of Pd and V within the RPA and the local spin density functional approach. Additionally we calculate the electron-spin fluctuation coupling function and show-in agreement with our previous work-that this kind of theory yields reasonable values for the electron mass enhancement.
