Mobility edge in the three dimensional Anderson model

Abstract

The localization length as a function of energy and disorder of a three dimensional disordered system described by the Anderson Hamiltonian is determined. The phase diagram for localization is discussed with particular emphasis on the mechanisms which are important for localization (quantum interference and tunneling).
