Abstract
Electron localization in 1d Frish-Lloyd model is investigated atp Fl∼1 using the Berezinsky diagram technique. The localization lengthl loc and the static dielectrique constant ε′ are calculated and their abrupt decrease by the factor of 10–102 is found in the narrow interval nearp Fl≈1 (the Ioffe-Regel criterion). This transition between “weakly” and “strongly” localized electron states is interpreted as some kind of the Anderson transition in 1d disordered systems. It disappears in the limit of a very strong scattering only. An abrupt dependence of ε′ onp Fl nearp Fl≈1 makes it possible to interpret the temperature dependence of ε′ and its high sensitivity relative to small concentrations of irradiation defects in the TCNQ salts with strong structural disorder.
