Abstract
Within a one-pion-exchange coupled-channel model, we show that theNN inelasticities due to theΔ excitation in theJ > 5 partial waves could significantly affect some of theNN spin observables. We suggest that current AW phase shift analyses should incorporate this theoretical constraint.
