Conclusions
A technology was developed for producing high-density ceramics from stabilized zirconia reinforced with acicular zirconia monocrystals.
The resistance of the material to thermal and mechanical loads is increased by these crystals.
The reinforcing acicular zirconia crystals do not reduce the refractoriness of the material, an important factor when the zirconia product is exposed to high temperatures.
