Conclusions
An investigation was carried out of the grinding and sintering of powders of stabilized ZrO2 produced by the simultaneous precipitation of zirconium and yttrium hydroxides. When this zirconia is ground (to particles of 1.5–2 μ) it can be used for the production of a high-density fine-crystalline ceramic with good property indices and a slightly reduced electrical resistance at high temperatures.
