Eric Kimmel is currently assistant professor of education at Indiana University at South Bend, where he teaches courses in children's literature and the language arts. His published articles include “Jewish Identity in Juvenile Fiction: A Look at Three Recommended Books,” and “The Wise Men of Chelm.” Dr Kimmel is also the author of numerous poems and stories for children.
