Protoplasma Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

  1. 1.

The presence of the plasmagel sheet inAmoeba proteus is confirmed.

  2. 2.

It is suggested that an increase in structural organization of the pseudopodial tip region, as shown in studies by interference and birefringence microscopy, confirms Mast's prediction of plasmasol-plasmagel conversion.
