Microchemical detection of hydrazines using ion-exchange resin grains

  • Published:
Microchimica Acta Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

By using colourless ion-exchange resins in the respective colour reactions of hydrazines with selenious acid andα-naphthylamine, with diazotizedp-aminobenzaldehyde, with formaldehyde-tetrazobenzidine, and with formaldehyde-p-nitrobenzenediazonium salt, the sensitivities of these colour reactions can be increased. About 30 hydrazines have been tested by the present resin spot tests and the limits of identification are reported.
