Calculation of binodals and spinodals of binary solid solution with plane triangular and fcc lattices

Abstract

The cluster-variation method was used to calculate the binodal and spinodal of a binary solid solution with an fcc and plane triangular lattice. The position of the binodal on the cA-T diagram for the plane triangular lattice is compared with the exact Ising solution.
