Summary
The determination of microgram amounts of copper with N,N,-N′,N′-tetraethylthiuram disulphide is described. Three different procedures allow copper determination in various biological samples and in water. The method is simple, rapid and precise, and gives a detection limit similar to that obtained by atomic-absorption spectrometry.
