The determination of traces of palladium and platinum in sulphide minerals by neutron-activation analysis

  • Published:
Microchimica Acta Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

A neutron-activation method is described for the determination of small concentrations of palladium and platinum in sulphide minerals. The method is a comparative one involving irradiation of samples and comparators in a nuclear reactor. Radiochemical separations using carriers have been employed to isolate the induced palladium and platinum activities.
