Summary
-
1.
The following dicyclopentadienyl titanium derivatives containing acyl groups we're synthesized:
-
2.
It was shown to be'possible to prepare monoalkoxy- and mono(aryloxy)-dicyclopentadienyltitanlum derivatives by the action of alcohols and phenols on (C5H5)2TiCl2 in presence of a tertiary amine.
-
3.
By the action of C5H5Na on (CH3)3SiOTiCl3 we obtained (C5H5)2Ti · [OSi(CH3)3]Cl and C5H5Ti[OSi(CH3)3]3.
-
4.
The refraction increment of the titanium-cyclopentadienyl ring group (Including the atomic refraction of titanium) was determined and found to be 35.28.
