Summary
-
1.
The following compounds are described for the first time; dimethyI-1-naphthy1-, methyldi-1-naphthyl-, ethyldi-1-naphthyl- silanols and dimethyldi-1-naphthylsilane.
-
2.
The conditions were found for the hydrolysis of chlorodimethyl-1-naphthyl-, chloromethyldi-1-naphthyl-chloroethyldi-1-naphthyl-, and chlorotri-1-napthyl-silanes with formation of the corresponding silanols in good yield.
