Abstract
C32H31FeIN2OP2-[CH2Cl2],1, monoclinicP21/c,a=14.134(3),b=9.496(3),c=26.272(6) Å,β=90.92(2)°,Z=4,D c=1.49 g cm−3,R=0.044,R w=0.048, GOF=0.84. Interaction of the hydrazinophosphine Me2NN(PPh2)2 with cyclopentdienyliron dicarbonyl iodide in THF yields compound1 as the sole phosphorous containing species (by31P{1H} NMR). The structure of1 was inferred on the basis of spectroscopic data and solubility characteristics and confirmed via X-ray diffraction.
