Abstract

Severe operating conditions of high-temperature nickel alloys require the development of new regimes of heat treatment that would improve the short-term mechanical properties, impact strength, and structural stability of the alloys without worsening their high-temperature characteristics. The authors suggest a method of heat treatment with decelerated cooling in the hardening process.
