NMR and IR spectroscopic study of the structure of quaternary salts of 1-vinylpyrazoles

Conclusions

IR and NMR spectral analysis indicated that quaternization of 1-vinylpyrazoles leads to a decrease in conjugation between the heterocycle and the vinyl group and to a significant leveling out of the charges on the atoms in the heterocycle and vinyl group.
