Barbara Z. Kiefer has taught elementary school off and on for the past fourteen years and is completing a Ph.D. program at The Ohio State University, where she also teaches reading, lauguage arts, and children's literature. She lived on Anglesey for over a year in the mid-seventies when her late husband served as an exchange officer with the RAF.
