Abstract
Fourteen in-service day care training programs for child day care workers are reviewed in this paper. The objectives, training strategies, teaching methods, content evaluation procedures, funding sources and sponsors of the various programs are summarized. An analysis is made of the common features, program differences and general trends. The emergent issues and trends which have implication for the training of child day care workers are discussed.
