Skill-based management training for child care program administrators: The teaching-family model revisited

Abstract

A five-day management training workshop for child care administrators is described and the results of an evaluation study are presented. The findings indicated that: a) participants' behavior improved following training, b) participants were highly satisfied with the workshop, and c) participants reported using the skills and information after completing the workshop.
