Summary
-
1.
As a criterion of the salting-out actions of electrolytes the authors suggest their isopiestic osmotic coefficients; the activity coefficients are calculated by means of Mikulin's equation.
-
2.
Using the concept of the isopiestic osmotic coefficient, the authors derive some relations and consequences relevant to the thermodynamics of simple mixed solutions.
