A combined NMR and IR spectroscopic study of the sterochemistry of certain organophosphorus compounds containing halomethyl groups

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The alteration of the geminal2JPCH constant resulting from change in the polarity of the medium is determined by the position of the point of conformational equilibrium.

  2. 2.

Spatial structures have been determined for organophosphorus compounds containing several chloromethyl groups.
