Summary
-
1.
Hydrides of the intermetallides Zr-Ni, Zr-Co, Hf-Ni, and Hf-Co are active in the synthesis of methane from CO2 and H2.
-
2.
The compositions of the gas mixtures after hydrogenation of CO2 in the interval 300–500°C at a space velocity of 1000 h−1 correspond well to equilibrium compositions derived from thermodynamic calculations.
