Conclusions

1.
ESR spectrometry has been used to investigate the radicals and diradicals formed by the interaction of silicon 3,3′,5,5′-tetra-tert-butylpyrocatecholate with substituted orthoquinones and stable radicals.
-
2.
On the basis of the temperature evolution of the ESR spectra, it has been concluded that two rotamers are present in the radicals that are formed. The thermodynamic characteristics of the reversible equilibrium between the rotamers have been obtained.
