Abstract
In an analysis of the interaction of spin-1/2 baryons with an octet of gravimesons (spin-2 mesons) on the basis of nonlinear quark field theory, the corresponding field equations are derived. It is shown that the interaction of baryons with neutral gravimesons of the octet can be described effectively by introducing a metric tensor of the Riemannian geometry which depends on the gravimeson field. The spin-1/2 field equation takes the form of the Fock-Ivanenko equation for spinors in Riemannian geometry.
