Application of the nonlinear Dyson equation for the investigation of shortwave propagation in a Gaussian turbulent medium

Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics Aims and scope

Conclusions

We have thus obtained asymptotic expressions for the Green functions of the Dyson equation in the nonlinear approximation of Kraichnan for the mass operator in the case of shortwave propagation in a Gaussian turbulent medium in the one- and three-dimensional cases, and these expressions are valid in the domain where the Bourret approximation fails. The applicability of the nonlinear approximation in this kind of problem is corroborated by a specific example. The results can be used to analyze problems of shortwave propagation in highly turbulent media.
