Abstract
The problem of determining the friction, heat flux, line of spreading, and longitudinal pressure gradient in the neighborhood of the central streamline is considered for the flow of a homogeneous, weightless, compressible fluid in a plane channel under intensive blowing from the walls. The asymptotic formulas obtained are compared with the results of numerical computations, and the limit of their applicability is established.
