1.
In studying demagnetization curves of magnetically-hard materials experimentally, the functional relationship B(H) is evaluated with certain errors due to the errors in measuring B and H. Moreover, in various magnetic-system calculations, the methods for evaluating the discrepancy between the computed and true values are different.
-
2.
When it is necessary to compare demagnetization curves obtained for the same specimen of a magnetically-hard material on a reference and tested equipment, as well as in comparing demagnetization curves of different specimens, it is recommended to evaluate the discrepancies between curves for the condition B/-H=const.
-
a)
The relative errors of B and H are represented by equal numbers.
-
b)
These errors approach the measurement errors of B and H obtained in the experimental investigation of relationship B(H).
-
c)
The discrepancy between curves can be evaluated by a simple geometrical method, along the radius vector drawn from the origin of coordinates in the plane (B, H).
