Conclusions
-
1.
In the reaction of dichloro- and dibromomalonic dinitriles with organic azides under high pressure, halogen derivatives of 5-cyanomethyltetrazoles and methylene-bis-5,5-tetrazoles are formed in good yields.
-
2.
The reduction of the halogen derivatives of 5-cyanomethyltetrazoles and bis-tetrazolylmethanes with sodium borohydride leads to the corresponding 5-cyanomethyl- and methylene-bis-5,5-tetrazoles.
