    A gas-phase, photoadsorption generator for singlet oxygen has been proposed.

  2. 2.

    The advantages of a gas-phase1O2 generator in the preparation of unstable, short-lived products have been demonstrated by the example of the oxidation of tricyclo[8.2.0.04,7] dodeca-1(10),4(7)-diene.
