Conclusions
-
1.
We have observed an increase in the positive charge on the S atom in organylammonium salts of sulfonic acids (relative to the original sulfonic acids) due to the appearance of a negative charge at the O atom of the sulfo group.
-
2.
The large values of the positive charge at the S atom in the inorganic sulfates compared with the organic ones may be explained by the presence of structures of the type O−-SO2-O−.
