Conclusions

Reaction of ammonium 2,2,5-triphenyl-4,6-disubstituted 1,3,2,5-dioxaborataphosphorinane oxides or the sodium salt of methoxy(diphenyl)borataoxybenzyl(hydroxybenzyl)phenylphosphine oxide with methyltriphenylphosphonium iodide yields methyltriphenylphosphonium 2,2,5-triphenyl-4,6-disubstituted 1,3,2,5-dioxaborataphosphorinane oxides.
