Reaction of aromatic sulfites with n-acetoxymethyldimethylamine

Conclusions

Reactions of aromatic sulfites with N-acetoxymethyldimethylamine lead to formation of the Mannich phenol bases, aromatic acetates, and ammonium salts of Mannich bases with p-hydroxybenzenesulphonic acids.
